The best parts of our documentary journey were the 2 days we completely set apart for shooting our cinematics. We had several things planned for our shoot. Although we couldn’t execute all of it, I am glad we overdid it on the planning aspect (although we started off reaching for the stars, we managed to capture the moon) We made the most out of our limited schedule and brought to life our 2 main characters, The Painter (Fatima - Director) and The Catalyst (Alvin - Editor).

Under the strict guidance of our producer (Rumeena) and our sound engineer and cinematographer carefully framing every shot to make the editor's life easier, we were able to bring our collective ideas to life in 2 short days.

Our director's home provided a warm atmosphere with a BEAUTIFUL VIEW that our sound engineer could not stop admiring and the timely snacks provided kept motivating us to give our best and kept us at peak energy all the time. In our chase for documenting the inauthenticity of the world, we have created authentic, irreplaceable memories that will last a lifetime.

Distorted visions of the future
